Context

Community pharmacies are a strategic contact point for HIV prevention and referral to voluntary counselling and testing.

2ACD designed and delivered a structured project covering training, equipment, awareness and referral, then produced a final narrative and financial report.

Objectives

  • Strengthen pharmacy professionals’ capacity in HIV prevention
  • Equip pharmacies to support awareness and referral
  • Raise public awareness and refer people to Voluntary Counselling and Testing centres
  • Deploy community formats (forum theatre) and mobile testing days
