For widows and orphans of road heroes
Project in preparation to support widows and orphans of tanker-truck drivers — “road heroes” — and to structure a lasting solidarity mechanism around these families.

Context
Tanker-truck drivers provide vital supply (fuel, water) in a difficult security context. When a death occurs, their families — widows and orphans — often face severe economic and social vulnerability.
Solidarité & Espoir is designed to recognise that sacrifice and organise dignified, accountable support. The project is not presented as already delivered.
Objectives
- Mobilise national and international solidarity around the families concerned
- Contribute to a lasting support fund and social recognition of families
- Prepare support pathways (schooling, micro-projects, accompaniment) with partners
