Pharmacies engaged against HIV: a completed, documented project
From 11 March to 10 April 2026, 2ACD delivered with HCNLS an HIV training, equipment and awareness project with community pharmacies in the District of Bamako.

Between 11 March and 10 April 2026, the Association Action Citoyenne pour le Développement (2ACD) designed and delivered the “Pharmacies engaged against HIV” project with the Haut Conseil National de Lutte contre le SIDA (HCNLS).
The aim was to strengthen community pharmacies as anchors for prevention, awareness and referral to voluntary counselling and testing.
Verified results include: 60 professionals trained, 30 pharmacies equipped, 8,240 people reached through awareness, 822 referrals to VCT centres, 20 forum-theatre workshops and 10 mobile testing days.
